I have 26 years of experience in the financial industry. I was the Branch Manager of an A G. Edwards office in Virginia (a predecessor company of Wells Fargo Advisors) for several years before moving to Raleigh, NC. I was also the Assistant Branch Manager of a very large branch in Raleigh for four years before I chose to focus exclusively on my clients' needs instead of office management.
I have experience working with several firms in the industry and have extensive training as a result of this. My practice offers a wide range of services, from selecting individual investments to developing a unique retirement or estate investment plan or estate plan strategy.
After college graduation, I served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an officer for eight years which is two tours. I served in the First Gulf War and was in an infantry battalion my first tour tour I was very honored to be stationed at Marine Barracks 8th & I in Washington, DC. There I worked as a presidential military aide at the White House for two years during President Bill Clinton's administration. My one claim to fame is that I escorted Bob Hope on his last visit in 1995. When I left active duty, I held the rank of Captain.
I graduated from Blue Ridge Boarding School in Charlottesville, Virginia for high school and am a graduate of James Madison University. GO Dukes!

When I am not in the office, you can find me volunteering for several organizations. I am an Admissions Volunteer for James Madison University at college fairs in Raleigh and surrounding areas. I am the President of the Alumni Board at Blue Ridge Boarding School in Charlottesville, Virginia. I am also on the Board of Trustees at Blue Ridge School. When not working or volunteering I enjoy quality time with my wife Sarah and my two children, Parker IV and Chloe. Parker IV is a dual major at JMU in Arabic and Intelligence Analysis. He is also an EMT with the local rescue squad in Harrisonburg Virginia. Chloe is at Cardinal Gibbons High School and is a competitive diver. My wife Sarah works full-time at NC State University. My family is very active and every now and then we get to enjoy the Outer Banks of NC when we have downtime.
